to the misinformed

Greekrank will most likely NEVER post a user's personal identity. Unless they are hacked (which is also unlikely since there is no monetary information and no one cares about college student surprise!) or someone has committed a crime/subpoenaed by law enforcement, they will not disclose info.

Saying mean things about someone is scummy and ridiculous, but that isn't considered harassment. "Pretty toes" and being labeled as "mean" isn't harassment. It's awful, but it's not harassment. A thousand posts that constantly attack someone can be considered as cyber bullying or "possibly " harassment but that depends on city laws.

If there are physical threats being made, the site will most likely have to disclose the poster's identity because that can be reported by law enforcement especially if the person is in fear for someone's life Greekrank seems to do a good job with removing mean / harmful posts about individual people (even without paying), so they seem to take those things seriously. Also, they could just ban the person. If you have to use a fake IP address to post on this site, you should re-evaluate your life.

If you talk about indv. on here esp. repeatedly, you look jealous, stupid, and a pitiful loser. Just don't do it. It makes you look bad. Not the other person.

Just fyi

IP address mostly confirms location. It shows WHERE you posted something, not WHO you are specifically. And anyone can lie about their IP address, so that's not even helpful.
