Truly have nothing against AXO, I know many wonderful people in that sorority. But their ongoing attempt to rebrand the common abbreviation from "A Chi O" to "alpha chi" reeks of tier insecurity. As a sister once told me: "a chi o sounds like chi o but alpha chi looks like alpha phi". How about y'all just stay real instead of forcing lingustic change in a misguided attempt to boost perceived popularity

They're Alpha Chi literally everywhere across the United States. It's not tier insecurity; they're just trying to get people to actually say their name correctly.

Fair enough, that's definitely a decent reason! Although the quote in my post wasn't made up, so clearly not everyone is on the same page
