why can't sorority rankings change?

by: curious freshman

From preview experience and from what I've been hearing since starting at NU, it seems that out of the three "top tier" sororities (Theta, Kappa, and TriDelt), Theta is the only one that should be top tier. Kappa has some of the worst reps on campus (though I liked them at preview), while almost everyone had a weird vibe from TriDelt. On the other hand, I loved APhi at preview and they have some of the best reputations on campus. I also thought DG was really pretty and more "top tier"-like than TriDelt. Why can't rankings change, especially if everyone disagrees with them?

Because no one cares that much. Rankings really don't matter after a while because you end up making friends with all kinds of people from different frats and sororities. Sure, there are stuck up ppl who only care about ranks, but I never see them. Good luck.

The only people who don't think ranks can change are the people who take them really seriously. Same kind of people who relentlessly check to see if NU has risen in US news rankings the second they come out. Unfortunately, these are also the people who come on this site the most and post rankings.
