by: ThoughtThetaWhen I first went through recruitment, I loved theta. I thought it was the perfect sorority for me, and that they loved me too because I made it through pref night. But after bid night, I felt so lonely. The girls in my pledge class made every effort to ignore me, even when I asked to hang out. They'd say they weren't doing anything, then I'd check their social media and see that was a lie. I didn't give up. I tried to hang out with upperclassmen, but all they did was talk about boys, makeup, and designer clothes. I couldn't relate. I don't wear makeup, and I don't recognize designer clothes. I dropped before initiation. Be warned freshmen
