When I went through recruitment, I had my heart set on popular sororities. But then, I realized that I was making connections with every single girl I spoke to. I learned so much about myself and others, and eventually, I got into my first choice house. I fell in love with every sister, loved every inch of the house, obsessed over wearing my letters, and I grew a bond with people that I would've otherwise never met. Women, men, anyone who is considering greek life, do what is best for you. Ignore the mean people, ignore the rankings, ignore it all. What matters is what makes you happy, even if that means being an independent.
