Chi Omega - ΧΩ Sorority Ratings at TAMUC

I Was about to rush this spring & they tried to rush with religion... each their own butttt, one of the girls I was talking to insinuated that people need to be Baptized or they would be severely concerned For them bc they can’t get into heaven.... I’m not rushing for a church I wanted to join a sisterhood. just bad vibes all around...

I had the worst experience with this chapter. Bullying, no sisterhood, and not welcoming in any way, shape, or form. Dropped, and still get unprovoked messages from girls I haven't spoken to in months/a year just to be nasty. Think twice before you associate with these girls.

Chapter run by a few clique members, also claim to be pretty religious but cats out of the bag, they turn their girls in to get what they want. Passive bullying but few of those are graduating so may get better. When they elect a new officers should be back to good This one has to prove they aren’t gonna proof anything. Don’t look for this group to achieve this year. They will be back though

chi omega is a nice sorority that has a lot of opportunities. i have heard from members of this org that they have a lot of members drop due to not being able to fit in with the strict rules and guidelines, or not feeling welcome. some of these girls are really nice but some of them are really mean so it could go either way. they also love to have their chapter full of girls who either are from commerce or their hometown is within 20 minutes of it. they also hold themselves up on such a high pedestal and a lot of the greek community thinks it’s annoying.

they don’t even like each other. Definitely need some work. I think after this group of seniors graduated they will get better

I’ve met countless amounts of chi o’s at this university and they are all so nice and welcoming! They are all involved in campus in many different organizations! Always happy and smiley! Can’t wait to rush in the fall!

Every single girl I’ve met has been so sweet and inviting! I run into them at every event I attend and even walking around campus. I’m looking forward to fall rush!

If you love being judged by church girls this is the chapter for you! Seriously, so many girls have dropped due to the bullying, & shunning of this so called “sisterhood.” My friends who are apart of the chapter told me to rush somewhere else because it’s so cliquey. If you like to go out & have fun they will not let you stay in the chapter for long. Definitely they have ghosted this spring, you won’t find them at campus events or parties

I lived on campus and was very close to a lot of people in Greek life but never wanted to join a sorority. These girls got the trashiest at frat parties, they were always really mean to orher sororities including Kappa Delta and Gamma Phi Beta. They call them the "less fortunate" sororities because they don't believe the girls look pretty enough. This sorority can be kind of down grading to woman and the greek community which is why I don't care to go through recruitment. No harm intended just straight up honesty!
