questions!
by: UOFrom what I got from the other discussions, it seems like there's a lot of confusion on distinguishing local to NPC sororities. Where does that come from, maybe aside from PNM's that just don't know anything? Do Aphi and Tridelt NOT advertise being "Panhellenic" when they recruit? Couldn't PNM's just look up the NPC website?

Well Alpha Phi and Tri Delt don't have a panhel council, and they don't recruit together. I think PNMs just aren't getting the difference between them and like Nu Sig or even KBG. I think the difference between an NPC and KBG would be really hard for a PNM to understand without APhi and DDD making a conscious effort to band together and educate.

IMO the difference between local and NPC is easy to see, the issue lies with "international" locals like KBG and APP who try to make us sound like we're in the same league when we provide VERY different experiences. I think pnms can understand the difference with the 3 different types but do they actually ask themselves those questions? I can guarantee anyone who forgoes rushing either NPC ended up rushing their sorority by chance/ignorance as opposed to having made an educated decision.

Maybe try giving your PNMs more credit... they aren't idiots, they're capable of using google. I knew what they were before I rushed... becauze of google.
