blacks in fiji?

I am black and considering rushing Fiji. Do I have a realistic chance?

Depends. Are you rich and do they already know you? Same criteria no matter what your race.

I live in Highland Park and am actually half black. My dad is white and mom is black. I am much lighter than the average black person.

If you have money and you ARE weird, then you have even a better chance!

Don't waste your time on those goobers, even if you're from HP and grew up with them. Known across campus for their dad's money (a lot of other fraternity have wealthier families) and their emotional issues and lack of game with the ladies.

Sig ep sounds like a nice fit for you.

If you're just now "considering" rushing Fiji and don't even know if you have a chance, and you're black, you aren't getting a bid. I don't think Fiji will ever have a black member at the UT chapter if it continues to get the same kinda of kids it currently does.

I dont think it is so much the actives who are resistant to accepting a black member. The alumni are the ones who are against it. The top tier frats are the ones in the position to accept token minorities because they can socially afford to do so. You will find that the ones who are probably more resistant and admanant about image are the upper middle to lower top tiers.
