SigEp replaced dangerous hazing with a member development program relevant to each stage in college man's progress. Instead of "pledging" there is a values-based program for on-boarding Sigmas:

No, their pledgeship is hell. Balanced Man only applies to bottom tier Sig Ep chapters, none of their good chapters care. Their nationals isn't going to shut down one of their best chapters in the south unless they do some OU SAE type crap.

So they wouldn't welcome a transferring brother? One of our cardinal virtues is brotherly love.
And just so you know: the undergraduates at Conclave 2015 made the Balanced Man Program the official membership development program of Sigma Phi Epsilon. There is no longer any dangerous "pledging."

Top tier fraternity chapters rarely care about brotherhood between chapters. If a fiji from utd tried to hang out with ut fiji they'd get laughed at and have the door slammed in their face. Sig ep's ut members are loyal to their chapter and the girls they're after, nationals is just their conduit for insurance. Sorry to break it to you kid but your "brothers" probably don't like you and I just want you to know that so you don't get hurt. You only have a chance if you come from another good sigep chapter.

If it's a good SEC chapter. Not if it's a bottom tier chapter. Bama's Sig Ep chapter sucks from what I've heard. So, if you're a Bama Sig Ep for example, you're sure as hell not getting into UT Sig Ep.

SigEp isn't allowed to "cut" anyone. New members are initiated into the fraternity as soon as they accept their invitation and then these new brothers have all the same rights and responsibilities as the rest of the membership.

He was talking about transferring from another chapter.Dont do it. They will ball you for the fun of it unless your from a real good chapter.
