usually the active trying to affiliate isn't at the same level because top tier at UT is really at a higher level than being top tier at any other school, except maybe schools like USC, where money, school acceptance rate, etc are comparable.

It's so hilarious to read y'alls board when we need a laugh. The only people that think anything in Texas is decent are people from that hell hole. Keep patting yourselves on the back because the rest of the country could care less. UT has been on a decline for years. SMU, TCU and Baylor are kicking y'alls ass!

so even if you were already an initiated member, you would still have to apply to affiliate yourself with a different chapter? what do you think the chances are for someone to successfully affiliate them self with a top house (zeta chi o or tri delt, not PKT) if the house they are in is undeniably the #1 top house at their current university and is known nationally by the sorority to be one of the best chapters?

Posted a few years ago about having to go through a process to affiliate with UT Zeta. Not very sisterly, but it is what it is, I guess.

It's hard to affiliate with top houses at Bama and Ole Miss too, for what it's worth.

top tier at Texas State, Southern ARkansas State or even Bama/Ole Miss is NOT the same as top tier at Texas...just sayin'.

if you are thinking about transferring, go ahead and contact the chapter and ask them how the affiliation process goes. Ive never heard of someone being turned down
