nursing student

by:

I will hopefully be transferring to UT next fall as a nursing major. I would really like to join a sorority but am worried about joining because I will be a full time college student. Are there other nursing majors in sororities? How difficult will it be to do both?
Thanks

I'm sure there are and there's engineering students and other hard majors. I don't think sororities are that time consuming anyway. Fraternities are the ones that are harder because you have to balance pledging and school.

Literally everyone in a sorority is also a "full time student" and we all manage just fine? Just because you perceive your major to be super difficult doesn't mean it has to consume your life. A sorority takes as much time as you're willing to put into it, assuming you even get in one since sophomore transfers will have a harder time during rush. (That's assuming you're a sophomore and not a junior transfer, in which case you could just kiss the idea of being in a sorority goodbye.)

No sororities do not allow nursing students or full time student members. Sorry.

How much harder is it for sophomore transfers to get into a sorority?

It's actually easier because every sorority has a sophomore quota that they have to meet. I know a lot of girls who didn't get in freshman year and ALL 5 of them got into sororities their sophomore year.

The sophomore quota is optional. No one has to use it. There are several sororities that don't use it or fully utilize it.
