spring rush

by: Transfer

I plan on rushing in the spring at some middle tiers but have met some really cool guys at a lower tier fraternity. Is it worth pledging a lower tier or is it looked down upon by other fraternities, sororities and would be consider a geed? Or should I look towards spirit groups instead?

go where you like it and feel at home. but yes, frats/sororitys look down on lower tier but to hell with them. do what feels right, either lower tier frat or spirit group.

Good is the social life in a spirit group line iron spikes or wranglers? I don't care much for all out ragers but more mixers and bartabs and smaller gatherings

As much as self promotion is frowned upon, I strongly suggest you give ATO a look. We're the most diverse middle tier frat apart from Sammy, and we're a pretty open minded group

I pledged a lower tier frat because I liked the guys but felt like I was missing out on a lot (crappy parties, barely any mixers) so I dropped. Honestly most top fraternities just because of how big they are will have guys that you like in fit in with, even if there are guys you don't like as well, plus the experience will be a lot better (parties/mixers/fun date events)
