how much are sorority dues here?
by: curious in georgiajust asking out of pure curiosity. my sorority is only $2100 a semester, $3400 if you live in the house. this is the average at my school. I heard someone say dues at UT are much higher so I was just wondering how much it costs here and what it goes towards!

UT sororities are 2k-2.5k/semester, so we are about the same as what you are paying...."living in" is approx the same cost of some lower costs dorms (10k/academic year) ....it's usually considered "a deal" to live at the chapter house.
The frats are a different storey, tho....about 5.-6.k/semester for mid and top tier.
