If you don't like getting water poured on you and you clothes ripped off constantly, DONT pledge Sig Ep. When you sign: they rip your pants off, when you get ready for mixers: they rip off all your clothes. There's only so much clothes ripping a guy can take.

The Balanced Man Program is the fraternity’s award-winning leadership development program. In standing with the notion of a “Universal respect for self and others,” SigEp has eliminated the pledge process completely. The program grants all members the same rights and privileges from day one, which is contrary to the idea of a two-tiered, pledge model. Because we recruit the best men, they are granted full responsibility as soon as the accept the invitation of membership

The Balanced Spoiled Brat!

The Balanced Man Program is based on continuous, single-tier development divided between four challenges. Balanced Man Program chapters will have the opportunity to participate in four challenges that progress throughout their entire college experience.

Members in the Sigma Challenge will focus on time management skills and chapter orientation. The Phi Challenge will help emerging leaders develop leadership skills and gentlemanly behavior.

The Epsilon Challenge provides members opportunities to tackle leadership positions within the chapter and campus community, as well as develop a sense of civility. Lastly, members in the Brother Mentor Challenge will focus on their experience after college and will begin developing professional skills for the working world.

A "Sigma" level brother trying to overcompensate and "brag" about "hazing" (doing a wearing FitBit, doing yoga, learning ballroom dancing and which is the salad fork).

The fraternity has a zero-tolerance policy for hazing.

The Balanced Man program is only followed by bottom tier Sig Ep chapters. Sig Ep is top tier at UT so they will haze you hard even if you technically have the right to go to their meetings and rituals. No top tier chapter at any school lets people in without a price, be it economic status or hazing, otherwise they'd become a revolving door of geeds. Unlike fiji and sae Sig Ep doesn't scrutinize your family's financial status that much so the price you pay is getting hazed.

With total adoption of the principles and process of the Balance Man Program and total alignment of people involved, the future finally looks bright for the Texas Alpha chapter.
