spring sorority rush
by: MissyI know there's already a thread vaguely about this, but it got a little off-topic once that crazypants alpha phi/adpi mom or whatever posted on it. Since initiation is pretty much over, that must mean COB is over as well right? Are there any non-sucky houses that will be doing spring rush then? Or COB next semester? And by non-sucky I mean anyone besides AZD and SDT...

I see, you don't have the self confidence and leadership abilities to become part of growing organizations. Perhaps you aren't material for any, since you think you are too good for others.

U need to b networking actives fr the houses u want....they all have holes to fill here and there and if u r in tight w some of the actives, they will bring u in. Panhellenic never posts which house is looking because friends of actives get the spots. For whatever reason, AZD is included in bottom tier and to some degree, KD is too, but You really would b lucky to get a bid from any of them, as some great girls went w out bids at all this season.

Quota is a recruitment only figure. Total is the number sororities can bid up to at any given time after recruitment. No one has any way of knowing how many member a sorority will be under quota at any given time. It is generally very few except for the obvious examples given already (SDT, AZD). No sorority is going to advertise this and spots will be filled quietly with people the members already know and like. Best to concentrate on any houses that you have lots of good established relationships with because random spring COB is not something that's going to be out there for you.
