sorority dues per semester

OK....going through rush in 2016 and want to be prepared if I get into UT. I want to know the dues per semester for the sororities. My parents have committed to this expense but I want to know what to expect and DON'T want to inquire at each house, as you can understand. The UT greek office posts the frat dues but not the sorority dues. Thank you in advance!

wanted to add, the greek life office does post sorority dues 'ranges' but I'm looking for dues for specific houses. thanks!

if you have to ask, you probably can't afford it.

What were you planning to do? Only accept a bid from the least expensive houses? It doesn't work that way.

mid tier house is about 3500. for official expenses for the year plus extras as listed above

i'm in a big 3, and mine is about 1900 for the first semester and after that 14-1500 a semester.....i wasn't honestly expecting it to be that much but they don't tell u anything ahead of time

meal plan is around 500/semester

So, that's pretty reasonable for sororities....3500 or 4000 total for first year not living in. The frats are like triple....5k per semester or 6.3k in some cases....I guess for all the repairs their house will need after they finish tearing them up....

I'm in a big 6 sorority, we pay around 2500 for the first (New Member) semester, then around 1600 the rest of the semesters. Living in house is crazy expensive, around 3000+ per semester.

Separate meal plans if you don't live in the house are about 500, but we get chapter dinner or free once a week
