pledging as a junior

by: late to the game

I've been late to the bus in terms of pledgeship since my parents weren't comfortable with it at first and I had a heavy load this year as well. However, I feel like I've outgrown the "frat" vibe here at UT but still want some type of decent social life to exist. I was told to check out Iron Spikes or Wranglers but I'm not sure if that's my thing. I also did receive bids from fraternities I turned down so I don't know if I'm allowed to rush there again. Currently I'm looking at sigep mostly since I somewhat rushed them and liked them the best. I'm also glad to hear that they're becoming diverse since I'm a minority and it helps to know that greek life culture is changing. Anyhow I'm just looking for input to see what y'all think. Thanks again for any help

Also wanna add that my ultimate goal is cowboys or spurs through a fraternity. I'm not sure if I should pledge and hope to be put up or go independent if that should be best

You are actually too late in the game to reach any of those goals. They take time, networking, and establishing yourself as a leader on Campus. Tbh, it looks Luke you should have looked at an org like Tejas earlier in the game.

Well I have independent connections to both those organizations via meeting people throughout fraternities and spirit groups. I'm also a leader in other organizations but not necessarily those that feed into cowboys or spurs

None of those groups are going to want you as a junior. You're going to have to aim a lot lower.

I have to agree with this. Try looking at blazers...
