big 8
by: times are changingthe rumor during rush/primarily at hardin was that they started the "big 8". which included big 6 plus axo and kd. the talk was that if you didn't get a big 6 house then pref the other two cause they were the most improving and genuine chapters.

all our chapters are good in truth- I do think KD is a really good chapter here and they did have a very good rush. I am proud of them- this is a tough campus that is why gamma phi folded and I would not want to bring on other sororities for that very reason- they will always be considered "new" - this is not a friendly campus - open to expansion - I feel the same way about SMU. I wont not want to be the new chapter there either

KD in 1981....opened a house and had 100 members...."instant sorority" minus the history, tradition and all that. Yeah....KD will always be the new kids at UT which means they will always be lower tier, maybe lower end of the mid tier if they do well.
