is phi psi to be trusted?

Recently I've heard stuff about phi psi building a new house. I've also heard about the new house being a load of BS.

What I'm wondering is, as a spring rushee, who should I trust on the issue?

Not Phi Psi. Phi Psi's are just known to be shady, untrustworthy guys. And this isn't just at Texas, they have that reputation at almost all of the big, competitive Greek schools where they have chapters.

That's definitely possible, after all, I haven't met them or anything yet.

Wanna know what else is possible? That you're in an irrelevant fraternity like TKE of sigma pi, and you're trolling a social media site to dissuade people from fraternities that you're competing with for members

They are getting a new house. They've already moved into that property and started construction. They wouldn't have sold their old house to Pi Kapp if they didn't have another one lined up.

So just a disclaimer: I am not in phi psi. I live off of 25th and rio, I walk to class everyday and pass by the house in question. There is definitely construction going on to build a second house. And the construction site is linked to phi kappa psi. You can see for your self, it's a little bit back from the parking lot on guad next to what used to be mellow mushroom. However weird or lame their current members may be, it's highly plausible that some other fraternities are dismissing the new house because they realize that its a pretty nice house and may attract rushees away from their house and into phi psi. But at the end of the day you should join wherever you feel the happiest. And if you need someone else/ Greek rank to tell you where that is, then you have bigger issues.

Their house is finally under construction. Their old house if going to Pi Kapp. I believe my friend told me it should be ready August-October 2016. It depends on various factors of course.
