is it socially acceptable to stay home from ou?

by: frosh

I'm going to have too much to do that weekend, and it's not like I'll miss "important experiences," which I've heard more often entail regrettable ratchet ones. I can't afford to get behind because I actually give a rat's a$s about my first semester. Are you required to go if you're in a sorority, or can you opt out?

Just stay home and pour a pitcher of beer over your head. Same experience.

Really though if you don't want to go you won't be the only one. Take a few hours off from studying on game day and stop by your chapter house for the game at least. I bet there will be some people watching it there if you have a big screen.

Wait til soph or junior year if you're that worried about studying. You're right that one weekend can throw you off.

If you have a cool house just go there and study. You might find a study buddy. More comfortable than the library.

But you need to be strong up until OU weekend there prob will be people asking you if you're going right up until the last person drives off to Dallas or the bus is loaded and gone.
Maybe find a few people not going now and stay strong together or just lay low or just do the smile and nod when you're asked if you're going.
