by: BIG 8Rumors are swirling about the new Big 8. All someone has to do is put a new article in Texas Monthly, and people will run with it, regardless if it's a satire only. It happened once in 1976, and it'll probably happen again. Rumor has it there's an article in progress, ........but another publication.

To write about eight groups when there's only 14 nowis quite pointless

The Daily Texan hates all greeks. No one cares about them. And everyone who matters knows there's no such thing as a big eight. Just more nonsense from the middles.

And this is why no one will ever take an addition to the Big 6 seriously. They can't abide that. The groups added would be derided as wannabes. Told they are social climbers. Delusional.

The only way to get this article right is to actually talk about all 14 groups not to just single out some historical PKT or some new big eight
especially since no one agrees on rankings
every sorority target to they want and who they know they can get and who fits in with their chapter

Here's why the original article worked
The author was actually a Kappa so she actually knew what she was writing about she knew the inner workings of the groups she had a family journalism background
The Texan staff writing about something they don't know about and getting it all wrong will be quite a laugh
