According to Greekrank, here is everything you had to do to have a really successful rush:

- Be attractive with a low BMI...even if we see it's quite the contrary
-Dress with class and in good materials on all occasions, not have your makeup overdone, not overaccessorize ever. I mean, no potential top tier pnms do the latter AT ALLLL. Nor does anyone EVER forgive them for it, am I right????
-Shave your toes.
-Be socially perfect during the early rounds especially, despite how loud it is and the fact some people doing the rushing don't know how to have a convo, since it's really all about how YOU fit in
-Be "old money" even if true old money is like 1% of the pnms
-Be from Highland Park.
-Be from Texas only.
-Live in Hardin only.
-GO TO CAMP.
-Be a cheerleader.
-God forbid you ever be a sophomore with a better resume and sense of self than most freshmen.

If the above was really all anyone cared about, good chapters and top chapters would be filled with clones. Like 80% of the PNMs would have long been cut.

Yes, all of this is true, and A LOT of it is necessary to have a successful recruitment (besides the silly things). And as for those top of the top chapters...well, around 80% or more of PNMs have indeed been cut.

This explanation does not account for all of the girls in top chapters who don't fit that mold who get in for one reason or another, maybe a good connection or just the grace of God. Literally a surprising number show up on bid day and it's like "what? Okay, awesome!"

You must be going based on a stereotype.
