Dear PNMs:
This time last year I was in your shoes, extremely nervous but excited for recruitment to start. My advice? Go into it with a totally open mind and be your best version of yourself at each and every house, and act with grace and class. If you find people you really click with and can see being your future sisters, that's awesome (even if it's with a group you didn't expect to like); and if some people aren't the nicest to you, ignore it. You didn't want them for sisters anyway, regardless of the letters on their shirts. And for those of you who don't find your place in greek life: IT IS OKAY. I thought not being in a sorority would be the end of the world, but I ended up dropping out of recruitment (along with about half of the girls that were there on day 1). And yes, I was heartbroken for about a week, but only because I was trying to force myself into what i thought was the only way to be happy in college. I had made friends with some of the girls in my recruitment group though (who also ended up dropping) and those girls are now some of my best friends. I ended up finding a different group to join on campus, and I actually feel like I fit in a lot better there. I thought that by now I'd be in a sorority and getting ready for the other side of rush, but I've never been happier. I've met amazing people I never would have if I was greek, including an incredible boyfriend, and I wouldn't change the past year for the world. Good luck this week, and trust the process

#1 Half the people who went through day one did not drop out. Nowhere near that. Stop making ish up.
#2 No GDI would come on here the day before recruitment
#3 You're probably in SDT or AXiD and are trying to promote staying in and accepting bids to your crappy house

She is probably so glad she dropped knowing there are girls like you in sororities and 138 other girls that liked your comment. People like you give greek life a bad rep.
