One of our National officers told me that APhi had a team of alums from their Nationals working on turning that chapter around for over a decade. I am shocked that it worked. Is it true they used to be literally on the bottom?!??

My internship supervisor was a DG at UT and graduated in 2003. When I asked her about rushing she put APHI down below AZD and SDT when she was there. But she also said ADPi was really high up there with DG and AXO was kinda lower middle. So I don't think the top tier changes much but the bottom half mixes it up a lot.

Has a great national team. They also turned around struggling chapters at Cornell, Duke, Mizzou and UVA.

Had to have been going on way longer than 2010. Have you seen the stats on this chapter from the early 2000s? Check out a Cactus yearbook! You cannot reverse brink of death overnight. No exaggeration. I don't care what magic they worked to get from 14 to 8 or 9. That is a huge leap by any standard. Wish my own chapter would figure something out like this. We keep dropping every year and no one seems to care.

These rankings are opinions about reputation and prestige and "ease of entry". They change decade to decade as you can see from previous comments. And uni to uni as you will have friends who have a totally different image of a group based on their uni. These 14 UT chapters are most of the best of the 26 natl NPC sororities. Meaning you will find them wherever you go after you graduate. Some are better in certain states or regions. Some struggle everywhere but are filled with women you'll be glad to have as friends. All will give you a sorority membership. So..you have to decide: do you want to be Greek? Also tbh if you actually saw the behind the scenes computer statistics you would see these lists aren't quite what they seem.

sure but not as bad as phi mu, sigma kappa, agd, aopi, gamma phi, dz and the ones u haven't heard of like phi sig, dphie, tri sig, asa, ast....

phi mu, sigma kappa, aopi, gamma phi, dz are all better than those two. all good examples of sororities that are strong nationals and very strong in certain regions. unlike sdt and axid which are neither. maybe you need to get out more.

maybe so.... But none of those groups are at UT are they? and none are particularly strong in Texas, in fact they are all pretty awful across the state. And the way AZD and SDT are talked about on here , none of those other groups will ever colonize here.

Are strong.. DZ is ranked in top ten nationally.. They are all strong in south.. Kappas aren't that great in certain places.. Nor is Theta.. It's really regional..
