How much of a disadvantage do sophomores have during sorority rush? Which houses would I be most disadvantaged at?

should have rushed last year and should look for other ways to be involved. Why would we want someone who wasn't committed enough to being Greek to rush as a freshman? If you are a transfer, you should have rushed where you went last year and affiliated when you got here. If by some miracle you do get a bid, you will not have much of a relationship with your pledge class. Move on.

Every sorority takes so many each year. If you know a group, that is your best bet. The system forces sororities to take girls so taking a girl they already know is their best bet. There is a few girls that decline a bid their freshman year and receive a bid from a different house the next year. Awkward! They didn't want you round one but now they do. Also, remember your pledge class will be a year younger. You will be doing activities with them not the girls you know. A lot of these girls just never fit in.
