what are my chances?
by: PNMI have a question that I would like a flat out honest answer to. I'm thinking about rushing this fall and I am a minority. What are the chances that a minority can make it into any great sororities on campus?

If you haven't already gotten letters of support and recommendations sent to all the chapters on your behalf, then the chances are slim to none. UT sorority recruitment isn't something you "think about doing" then happen to do it. It's very competitive for ALL of the chapters and requires significant preparation and connections. This has nothing to do with your race and this applies to everyone.
Most importantly, keep that idea of "great sororities" out of your head. UT recruitment requires a very open mind, particularly when you don't have connections.
