texas greek life much better than surrounding scho

Not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure Greek life at Texas is much better than Greek life at any of the other schools nearby, e.g., Tech, TCU, OU, Ark, Baylor (lol). A&M's Greek stuff is a joke.

Perhaps SMU is the only school with similar caliber.

The mid-tiers are Texas are probably similar to the tops at aforementioned schools.

Explanation might be location, given that UT is in Austin, the most opportunities are here. Dues upwards of 5k are also a factor. Smarter more organized guys make the chapters better.

Anyone have any other experiences to compare or contrast what I've said here?
