sorority comments

how did chi o do this year?

I am thinking about transferring to UT next year as a sophmore. UT has a great reputation for their sororities and I would like to get involved. I was wondering who is the most positively recognized sorority at UT? please, no need to tear others down in the process! I have a feeling it's going to be the same names as usual.. Tri Delt, Chi O, PKT, but am I missing anyone important? THAN YOU!(:

Seriously, if you are going to be a sophomore, just enjoy yourself and don't rush. I don't know any sophomores but it's RARE if one does get in a decent organization. Just let it be and that way you won't be disappointed.

Actually, my friend who transferred in as a sophomore got into Tri Delt a year ago, and my sophomore friend who just transferred in got into DG. It's not thaaaat rare, and it really doesn't hurt to try.

I know 2 girls who earlier got into decent groups. Pi Phi and AXO. They were both worried about being cut but actually made it. But it wasn't this past year, not to rule out anything this past rush.

Getting into Achio as a sophomore is not difficult. They are ok but not top 6.

Yes kappa gave snap bids last year and this year. I know one of the girls that got the call this year. One girl preffed Kappa 3rd and that's what she got. And yes DG did get a lot of top 6 girls because they beat out Zeta for top 6 last year in rushing putting zeta right above APHi. And this year a lot of girls are saying that APhi moved up a spot over Zeta with their rushing this year but won't really be able to tell till next year.

For frats, it really doesn't matter what class you are to be in. But w/sororities, there's almost NO pledging above sophomore
