Which sororities do Waldemar girls pledge?

Any girl who attends St. Agnes or Duchesne will do fine anywhere. The teachers adequately prepare them for college and I guarantee your daughter will not have any problems making friends that go to other schools. If anything, she will learn how to deal with some mean girls and learn life lessons that will strengthen her spirit throughout her college career.

Thanks, I have certainly been impressed at both schools and haven't heard anything different, just checking everywhere I can think of. She will probably want to go to Texas, and I certainly want her prepared in every way!

I personally know girls from both schools, and while either should be fine, I find that St. Agnes girls tend to pledge what are considered the top sororities. I also know a lot of great girls that went to Kinkaid that do very well here!

Why are you so concerned with an order that is based on the past? Perhaps the KD's are improving and others actually like the girls and their house. Why does this cause you such stress? You obviously find your self worth from your houses ranking. Time to grow up.

ok so I know rush is a long way off but I am terrified to go through it. I want to be in a sorority because I strongly value sisterhood and want to have a group of true, classy girls to be with. I am a legacy at one of the major sororities and I am currently in a private school but I am not ridiculously wealthy and I dont know anyone in the Greek system at UT and Im scared that will have an impact. I am very involved in school, have a high GPA and am a generally good person, but will that be enough?

i go a different school in your conference, but I am going to tell you that what you want is not going to happen AT ALL. You can't proove your character in 5 days, so you have to be judged based on those other things. does it suck? yes. but by the way you conduct yourself people should be able to see your character. be who you are and not who you think they want to see so you can continue to be a legacy. you will end up where you belong, because I totally did.
