Every group thinks they are the best. What's most important are the benefits of a sorority:
Even though college campuses are full of people, they can be very lonely places when you don?t know anyone and haven?t found your niche. Greek life provides an easy way to meet people, make friends, and join a community. And membership to a Greek organization is for life, so you?ll always have a network of friends to fall back upon.
When you?re looking for a job a few years from now, your skill set often is not as important as your connections. This is unfortunate, but it?s a reality. Greek membership is a great way to connect with people, both in your pledge class and through members who have graduated and joined the working world.

Yep. Also, the "older & wiser" lady was right in what she indicated a few posts earlier too.

The best sorority national does not depend on the number of chapters or the number of initiates, it depends on what the sorority does everyday to live out its mission. I would assume there are 26 TOP national sororities because there are 26 members of the National Panhellenic Conference. Every sorority has something wonderful to offer its members. The horrible things being said on this website are only hurting all Greek organizations. Groups that are ranked top at UT are the same groups that are ranked at the bottom at other schools, who cares??? If a girl goes through recruitment with an open mind and wants to be in a sorority for the right reason, she can be happy in any group (or miserable in any group). You only get back what you put into any organization you join. Sorority membership is for a lifetime. United we stand, divided we fall and if the current generation of Greeks continue to treat other groups like they do on this website, the Greek are going to be history!!

Funny boo hoo because my house is actually ranked in the top six on this list. Also, college Greeks better start caring about what us old vampires say because many of us still volunteer out time for our Greek organizations and we have a lot of influence with the administration of your university. Don't believe me?? Just see what happens when a sorority or fraternity screws up, the groups with strong active alums usually get to stay on campus.

Thanks "to comment below"

BTW "Haha" and "boohoo" I am not a UT alum, I just clicked on the UT site from the Home page of this website. I have done some exploring and see that groups that are strong at one school/area may be the worse at other schools. For example the group currently in the #1 spot at UT is ranked the lowest at my university and the things people are posting about the group is awful and on my campus is great, but anyone who would find this site and read the posting would get a bad impression of said group on my campus, which is very sad (and it isn't my group).

I just think in general that this website is causing more harm than good, and it is only going to hurt the Greek system as a whole on all campuses.

They're right you know. No one cares what you alumnae think. Your college days are over. Don't be jealous because you're not one of us.

Hey "Get a Life Alumnae" so glad you can hide behind your nickname. The Greek Alumnaes' college days are over, but obviously many of us to the "member for a lifetime" part seriously and we still care about our organizations. I just hope you are not a member of my group because if we have a member like you in our collegiate chapter, our standards are not being followed. I would hate to think that a girl in my sorority was so rude and hateful.
