totally agree and how most see it at UT

it seems that Zeta's are so desperate this year for a PC that they are willing to CHEAT and take PNMs out early. In fact a few of them are floating the river today with a couple of girls from small towns around austin. Hope they have fun on probation!

oh please, like every other sorority in the top 6 does not do this. Get a life and some real news!

PKT is not dead, we're well and alive.
Secondly, ZTA is not desperate, they have a lot of girls transferring in from UTSA who are 10 time legacies, etc., so their freshman intake may be smaller than normal.

Thirdly,(to address a very old question/comment)The sophomore quota is mandatory, and we want the best sophomores (mostly transfers). People who rerush will most likely still be cut in the first couple of rounds, so CAP and transfer girls are who we're looking for. Get ready transfers!

I'm a transfer, and at roundup all of the girls, from EVERY sorority, told us about the mand. sophomore quota.

What would y'all current sorors say, about how you're going to choose sophomores?

As we enter recruitment season, please remember that this is not a good time to put down any sorority. There is a place for every girl and we do them a disservice when we rank houses and talk about the "lower tier." This encourages girls who are ashamed that they didn't get invited back to "top tier" houses to drop out of rush for fear of being ostracized as a pledge. All our houses are good. Try to promote greek panhellenism during recruitment. Encourage every PNM to complete recruitment and find a greek home.

Go Greek or Go Home is basically how it works. UT has one of the best Greek systems. The names of "top tier" that and "low tier" this, is really just a joke. Every girl is happy in every sorority, and you'll regret dropping because you believed you got a bid from a sorority that wasn't a "top house." Because in the end, every house is stellar.
