why was there a lawsuit against camp mystic?

what happened to this website? i haven't been on in months and all the rankings are mixed up. what is going on?

sick of this site so we messed it up. it was never the right ranks anyway and the real ratings are given out on campus, not some idiot site

This is 16 days late. Regarding Camp Mystic, I'm not sure about a lawsuit. However, close to it is Camp Arrowhead which has recently shut down. There was a big family contraversy as it was sold by a family member (I think) and the others either sued or threatened it. It didn't make it like Mystic or Waldemar, but certain people are trying to revive it. Someone out there may know more. My family went to Camp Longhorn- so much for my input ha.

Section (slightly edited)of a newspaper article: (2008)The ruling means that Camp Mystic is not responsible for paying NFP the millions of dollars an owner was seeking. It also means that Camp Mystic becomes an at-will tenant of NFP unless another lease agreement can be reached.

The judge also ruled that the arbitration procedures for the lease agreement are unenforceable.

The summary judgment also ordered that Camp Mystic Inc. does own the exclusive rights to the trade name, trademarks, service marks, domain name and corporate name. The order also stated that NFP or any of its parties, could not take claim asserting conversion of the Camp Mystic trademark.

In case anyone has noticed, these ranks are completely and totally out of order. What did ya'll do? Draw 17 names out of a jar and place them as you pulled them? haha. Maybe other schools should do the same.
