Let's face it, we're all Longhorns. There may be competition among you guys, but if one other school was up against UT, you'd all unite and be as one. Sooooo, wake up and grow up. What happened to going to college to get an education? All of this other business is just "side-line" trivia.

If you want to feel you never left high school, Theta or Pi Phi are your best bet. They all end up with those they've already known before, and never experience anything outside of that realm. Any sorority with a mixture is best, as to not have the depth for exposure to things new and different, is really a negative. In other words, it's as though some have never left high school, and it's really sad. They all party with the same people over and over and can't cope with anything that deviates from their isolated routine. As a Theta "shoe-in" and a Pi Phi "maybe" during rush, I cut them both. SO GLAD.

W/out mentioning specific sororities, I agree with poster below, so let's just say, if we choose to only select groups we're already familiar with, or if we approach life in the same way day after day, as well as sticking w/what we know, there's definitely a decrease in intellectual aptitude.
If, on the other hand, we seek new ways of doing and looking at things, we will expand our intellectual capability, find life more exciting, and broaden our experiences.
Ultimately, having an open mind helps us expand our horizons and be more diverse and interesting persons.
