Well, it has been an interesting story so far. Anyway, to answer your questions. I did communicate with Panhellenic several times, and didn't receive any replies. I also received a letter from Marilyn Russell stating she would not provide any statistical information whatsoever, but wished me well with my efforts this week.
I will continue the article until completion. Remember, please, I AM NOT THE ENEMY! I was Junior Panhellenic President and Panhellenic President in college. I was a chapter advisor at UCLA and CU, and I am in Order of Omega and Rho Lambda. I know you may not like it, but I am doing my job, and hoping to promote the Greek system. One facet of my article is to let the girls who have been released, know, that there is absolutely nothing wrong with them. They just didn't fit into a very small segment of our society. Again, my intention is to have an informative, educational, and entertaining story. Like when I had the police called on me today. LOL. Yes, they were the friendliest people that I have encountered yet.

Thank you to the women whom I interviewed.
I appreciate your support and encouragement.
UT Greek, thank you for the encouragement.
I am beginning to pull everything together and see which direction I want to go, online article, magazine article, etc. Based on my experience, from convocation evening to bid day interviewing parents, and seeing the joy of many and the heart-wrenching tears of the few, the story is positive for the Greek system.
It will also be entertaining, (the Pi Phis called the police on me) and informative.
If anyone has any additional communications, you know how to reach me from my post. I'd love to hear your perspective of recruitment 2012, now that it is finished.
Again, best wishes to everyone, PNMs, pledges, actives, and yes, I'm including the Pi Phis, for a continued enriching, and uplifting life experience as a UT Greek.

This is the order that a girl will be cut if she doesn't "pass muster". 1. Theta/Kappa first 2. Pi Phi 3. Chi-O 4. Tri Delta 5. Zeta 6. AXO/APhi/DG etc..
Let me tell you, 9 times out of 10 that's the way it goes...
Right or wrong this is how the sororities are ranked at UT.

Obviously, the comment above was written by a lower tier kappa trying to hitch their falling status to Theta's star. Everyone knows that kappa rushes against Chi O, Zeta and Tri Delt. The order of cuts is 1. Pi Phi 2 Theta 3. Chi O/Tri-Delt/Kappa 4. Zeta 5 AXO/DG/APhi 6. Everyone else. This is the current standing of UT recruitment.

These rankings are archaic.. My friend preffed a PKT and chose a 4/5/6.. this is stupid stuff.. Just because you drive a BMW and are not attractive makes you more desirable to PKT but drive a Toyota and are gorgeous means you are an automatic cut? This freaking stupid.. My friend walked out of a PKT pref and said she was not feeling it, she chose the 4,5,6 spot and is soo happy. I saw the pledge class . Beautiful and sweet!

is KD really as bad as y'all say it is? I'm a KD at Ole Miss and it's one of the hardest to get into along with XO.... it's such a shame they're bad in Texas :( I'm going to round up this year and I don't know if people will know the difference between Ole Miss KD and Texas KD

why you "laughed on our sisterhood" I was simply asking if people at UT knew the difference....
And yes I heard they're not as good in Texas than in the south, it's just so different everywhere. Pi Phi and Theta are the two lowest at Ole Miss and Kappa is middle tier, but everyone here knows how great they are in Texas
