with sororities. The Big 6 might of been switched around a bit but then the next three were DG, APhi, and AXO. And I didn't list them in any particular order because I believe they are all strong houses along with the Big 6. Plus all the rest. We have a lot of great girls who want to Rush and find a sisterhood. We should encourage girls to find a place to belong instead of letting them think only sorority A, D, and K are worth pledging. Let girls be happy. Let girls enjoy! Let girls Rush! And let them be proud of where they end up whether that be with A, D, and K or B, E, and L.

The term 'Holy Trinity originated with the Yale fraternities because Pi Phi, Kappa, and Theta are the only sororities there. These three sororities are at a lot of the Ivy League universities and it is more of a derogatory term meaning they think they are God's gift to everyone. I agree they all have strong and weak chapters. Nationally these 3 tend to be consistently stronger generally with good name recognition and a solid history. They may not win any most lovable contests but they have good reputations for the most part.

I would agree with you that Kappa and Theta have weakened at National levels. I also don't know about Pi Phi, they SEEM to be doing ok. From what I have heard Pi Phi has a lot of old, controlling, blue haired alums who don't give the individual chapters as much freedom to do what they want. Kappa and Theta national offices are more lax. This is just what I heard. Pi Phi will pull the chapter's charter at almost any offense. At one Southern school a KKG pledge on bid day got so drunk, she ran her car into 9 other cars before stopping in a restaurant. No one was injured, except the girl, but no disciplinary action was taken. The girl was kicked out of Kappa. She got the booze from the actives. Everywhere is different.
