?I lost six pounds that week,? recalls Julie Baselice, whose daughter Christina is now a Chi Omega at the University of Texas. ?It was the most stressful experience of my life.? As for Christina, she is grateful for the counsel of Marjorie Burciaga, an Austin, Tex., consultant, on how to handle herself during recruitment events. ?It?s so easy to go in there and start talking, talking, talking,? she says. ?You need to learn how to have a filter.?

that was so long ago, it's important to realize that ranking sororities at UT doesn't make any sense. All of the sororities have amazing girls. Greek Life at Texas is so old and the alumnae of each sorority here is strong. It is classless to rank sororities in any order at all. Each sorority here has history and each works extremely hard to maintain integrity. To criticize a group on a site like this is cowardly. You would never openly say unkind remarks to a girl's face, so why would you write them? Let's all show some class and be positive about all of the sororities here at Texas. Hook 'em.
