greeks
by: SayNoPractically the entire student body at UT neither wishes to, nor has joined a greek organization. Greeks are a miniscule segment of university life, and don't deal with life after graduation, as well as non-greek counterparts.

15% of UT students are Greek, which is about 6,000 students. Greek life is probably the largest single student organization demographic on campus by a large margin, unless you consider GDIs to be some unified group. We have better grades than the university average, we graduate at a higher rate, we have a higher college satisfaction than non-Greeks, and all evidence points to us doing statically better after graduation. We aren't a minuscule part of this school, and we donate more money and hours to philanthropy than the other 85% of students combined. We don't care if you aren't Greek, so why do you care that we are? We all have friends outside of Greek life, and it's not like we dislike people just for not being Greek.
