old tradition vs. new

Back when my brother went to UT (Fiji) it seemed like there were only 3 fraternities and sororities.
Fiji / Theta
SAE / Pi Phi
KA / Kappa
I rushed knowing I would have the privilege of choosing between those 3 sororities but I noticed that there were so many more options! However, I fell in love with another house and in the process realized how fabulous and large the UT greek system really is. With more quality girls rushing every year it seems like the idea of PKT is fading an a new tier system is forming to incorporate all the great sororities and fraternities. I challenge all the UT Greeks to work towards making our top tier stronger and in touch with our current traditions to form a structure where we all help one another to become better.
So here is my top tier:
Fiji / Theta
SAE / Pi Phi
Sig Ep / Chi O
KA / Kappa
Kappa Sig / Zeta
Sigma Chi / Tri Delt
These all form the best of the best of UT Greek Life.

I can't tell if you are a chi o, zeta, sigma chi, or ka. Good work butchering this so it wasn't as obvious

Sigma Chi. Nobody besides a Sigma Chi would consider them "the best of the best of UT Greek Life." Don't get me wrong, they're certainly an improving chapter, but they're nowhere near the best (FIJI/SAE/Sig Ep/Kappa Sig), and probably never will be.

im guessing KA - since nobody would put them there. Not saying they can't get there - but it will be years. Id put KA at bottom of this list and bump everyone else up a notch. Sigma chi should be flipped with them in my view.

Kappa is right with Theta - and above Pi phi

Back when KA was here before, Kappa Sig and Delt were the top of the middle and Sigma Chi was basically just making the jump from competing with lower middle tier chapters to competing with Pike and ATO. They were considered 10th or 11th at the time.

KA and kappa were a thing like 5 years ago. KA hang with more a chi os and DGs than these girls

Basically, instead of there being a PKT, there is a BIg 6? Wow. Revolutionary. This is a game changer for the face of Greek life at UT.
