Has SAE dropped because of all the new initiatives placed on them nationally and by UT? My pledgeship in '01 was by far the hardest on campus. I would, however, have to expect with one of our guys dying the year after I graduated, we definitely had to change somethings at least topically. No more of the old traditions anymore kind of sucks though, those new pledges are going to miss out on some of the hardest yet fraternal bonding you can have. Even during alumni weekend, I was comparing notes with a 60 year old alum who went through some of the exact same pledge traditions, and that was awesome to talk about, and then other alum would take me off to the side to see if they could still "swing with power" (they didn't want to compare notes I guess...). Maybe that's a good thing, as it was 7 months of pure hell, with no breaks. I never knew how creative 22 year olds could get...I still carry physical scars from that period. Has nobody else been put under the hazing microscope?

Lambda Chi doesn't throw good parties, doesn't have pledgeship, and isn't really campus relevant either.
Please tell me when they're even mentioned as a fraternity here.
