If you make it to pref night does that mean you will get a bid?

Yes if you rank each house you went to. So if you go to three and list two you can be released. If you rank all three you will get the one that listed you highest on their list.(typically, but even that can get weird...it is really complicated)

If you list all the houses you go to, you will get A bid but not necessarily from your first or even second choice. It all depends on where you fall on those bid lists and how that matches with your ranking of those houses. It's complicated!

Yeah the house bid lists can sometimes take preference over your ranking. If you went to, say "alpha beta gamma" and " omega xi" (those are not real houses btw) , and pref ABG over OXi, but you're number one on OXis bid list and further down on ABGs, you might get a bid from OXi even though you preffed ABG

So I only got called back to 1 house for the whole recruitment......does this mean I have a better chance of getting a bid to that 1 house????
