How do you reach out to frats?
by: geedGonna be a second year this fall and was wanting to rush but don't know anybody in Greek life. Thinking I'll text the rush chairs listed on websites but don't know if that's normal or not. Any thoughts? Thanks

Boy rush is stupid at UT. It will eat up your summer going to their events, my brother hated it. You should 100% reach out if you're a transfer etc cause they won't know you exist otherwise. If you'd gone to a TX feeder for GL, frats would have reached out to you while in HS cause you would have had connections. either way you lose a summer- GL

When it comes to the bigger frats you def gotta know someone, which honestly if you network wouldn't be too hard. Look at each frat's social media to see who has their rush chairs posted. If you wanna join a small frat literally just go to a couple events and if you're not weird they'll bid you lmao.
