Letters of recommendation

if you get a LOR for one sorority do you have to for all of them? Does it look bad if you only get a LOR for certain ones

Since they are specific to each sorority, they don't know anything about which ones you get them for or not. But try this: there are a good handful of sororities that now accept recs from third party non-alumnae who know the pnm well, such as a teacher, coach, boss, counselor etc. Those rec writers can write one rec for you and then send it to multiple sororities. You can also get a rec for some sororities from a chapter member at a different school. You aren't limited to alumnae. Recs check a box and show interest and effort, but they don't get you a bid.

Okay so even if I know a girl in a sorority at another school whose still an active, I can still get a LOR from her?

IF...not all sororities have this policy, many do so you need to check on their national site to see if recs can come from actives.
