SDT doesn't exclude based on religion. Having them as a niche sorority doesn't exclude a larger national sorority from coming on. SDT knows they are small, DUH, and obviously has a new plan for success here this time. One size doesn't fit all at a large school.

And also sorority expansion doesn't work the way you seem to think it does. The school does not pick some letters and "just charter" one, a national sorority has to express interest in coming on. Panhellenic will make an NPC announcement and any sororities wanting to come on here will submit proposals. Panhellenic will then create a short list of no more than three to come to campus and present and chose from them. Timing is everything for any national sorority; if they are expanding elsewhere at the same time they may not have the resources to establish here within the given time frame even though they could want to. It's about needs and wants coinciding between the campus panhellenic and the right national sorority at the right time.
