What did Greek life used to be like?

If anyone on here knows about this stuff reply because I'm curious. I know Sig Nu got kicked off, and I heard that DU actually had a big house and they got kicked off a while back too. I also know ATO and Pi Kapp got shut down too more recently. Does anyone know how Greek life has changed in the past? Did some frats/srats used to be really good and then fell off like DU? I doubt anyone knows the whole history of things but it's cool to hear some stories.
