Why is ADPI Bottom everywhere in Texas?

by:

Every school in Texas that I’ve looked at ADPi is bottom. Like at all of them. The most generous rankings say they are lower mid at best and mention how they are a new one on the rise or the chapter is recently improving or the house had a good rush, but then the hype quickly goes back to what it was before. Does anyone have any insider knowledge if there is some internal regional issue with ADPi? Nationally, ADPi seems to do pretty well and is even top in some areas, but I don’t know what went wrong with Texas schools.

Rankings shouldn’t define your view of any sorority at the UT. Each one offers something unique, and the emphasis on status within Greek life often creates a bubble that doesn’t reflect reality. Outside of that bubble, people tend to see it for what it is—more about perception than substance.

It’s disheartening to see how deeply both girls and guys can be affected by not being accepted into a fraternity or sorority they perceive as prestigious. While these groups may feel important during college, they aren’t in the real world. And if you think they are, brace yourself.

Here is the deal, ADPi has a lot of Texas chapters.
Decent at Texas St, Southwestern and Sam Houston .
Getting better at A and M , new house has helped.
Low tier but not bottom at Texas.
Bottom at Baylor , UNT and TCU .
On life support at Tech.
Just returned to SMU. My guess is they will settle in with AXO and DG .
ADPi got here early 1905 at Texas , 1907 at Southwestern and originally 1915 at SMU . I don't know why they weren't as strong as PKT , CHI O or DDD. But they have stuck around unlike some other nationals like Phi Mu or to sone extent DZ or KD that have a lot of inactive chapters in Texas.

Yea, ADPI is not bottom at UT. I would say more low mid. I know ADPI is a top house at Univ Georgia, Georgia Southern and several other SEC schools in the SE. I don't know about other Texas schools. I think of ADPI at UT as one of the stronger houses when it comes to having a strong sisterhood and being more laid back than other houses. Just depends of what you're looking for in a house.

Yes ADPI is very strong in the southeast, think Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, strong in Alabama, Tennessee and North Carolina ( although they are mid at Alabama and lower but not bottom at Vanderbilt). ADPI is not as strong once you get to to Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas and Texas. ADPI has recolonized at Mississippi , LSU and Tulane, they take quota at these big greek school but are lower tier. Arkansas has improved a lot over the last few years as the campus has added several new chapters.
The Texas schools are very uneven. I guess it has been this way since sororities got going at Texas and SMU early on and things just don't change.I don't know why ADPI has a southern split but it is a fact.

ADPI bottom at UT?! You either don't go here, you went here 50 years ago or you're in a bottom house.

What's the point of your post other than to spread lies? Did they cut you?

Obv you didn't really look to see rankings elsewhere in Texas otherwise you would have seen that ADPI has solid rankings at many schools in Texas, including UT. ADPI is VERY strong nationally as well, as others have mentioned.

Tri Delt, Alpha Phi, DG, Theta and others are not as strong in other Texas schools as they are at UT. So, why single out ADPI?
