Was rush hard this year
by: LWas rush just really difficult/competitive for sophomores this year, or am I just wierd and unwanted. I feel so hopeless. All I wanted was to join a sorority that would like me for me. I didn’t even care about any ranking or things like that. I didn’t get really any houses back for philanthropy, but I was content with that because I felt like atleast my 3 houses wanted to take a chance on me. I always stayed out of trouble and kept my grades up too, so I’m genuinely feeling so unconfident in myself

First of all it’s really not that personal. They barely know you. Everyone is making snap decisions based on super short moments with each girl. You don’t know if you have a good crop until well into the fall - best judgement in the moment and lots of hope. On both sides!!
This your first year at UT? If not consider COB

If you absolutely don’t like what houses you have left you can hope for snap bids or COB. It’s a risk, obviously.
Ask yourself if you’d rather be in no house than the ones you have left. If the answer is no house, risking cob and snap bidding is an easier choice to make as you’ll have less to lose.
