Article from the 80s = truth?

But PKT was ranked during the 1980s with a Texas Monthly article
Y’all can do the math on how old that “ranking” is.
At the end of the day it’s just not that true anymore, is it?

Kinda true but appears Chi O has taken Thetas place so now it’s PKXO. Theta has had some “tough issues” and Chi O has picked up the slack and started to thrive behind Pi Phis and Kappas. They are real contenders again.
