Don't base it on planning to pledge a certain house - Friend groups freshman year come in many shapes and sizes and you will be happier having friends across houses anyway

Half the girls change their minds during rush and end up finding real friends that aren’t so insecure and desperate to try to lock in own pledgeclass
Rushing your pledgeclass is so high school and why would you want someone else to tell you who you can or cannot be friends with?
