They may have cut you at the beginning but then snapped you back up at the end when they needed to fill half of their pc. This has plagued Pi Phi the last several years. It all works out in the end though.

Yup pi phi sure is exclusive. Exclusively lame with all the same (yawn) girls who think they’re special bc mommy told them so. Aggie chapter Pi phi is at least interesting 🤣

I can confirm every single house gave snaps last year - even Pi Phi, Kappa and Theta. It’s not true that Pi Phi has given any more than any other house ever as I have all the records on Panhellenic. And no current president you elect to Panhellenic council for the year has access no matter what they say to pump up their own chapter.

However, a house does not have to give snaps and can choose if they want a bigger pledge class or whatever size they want. Quota is what the Greek life system want to have happen for the large number of girls that go through to get into a sorority. We are trying to remedy girls getting cross cut and snaps fix that situation. Maybe it’s a building or fundraising year as has been a reason some houses have had more of a sign up or snap situation IF THEY CHOOSE to add girls. It doesn’t mean they are struggling in any situation if they do OR don’t add.

Some need the money dues bring in, some need to establish a chapter, some have too many girls to house, some don’t want more than they picked.

It doesn’t matter as ALL of you live in glass houses.

And SHAME ON YOU for trying to make any girl feel bad for her path as if that makes her a less valuable member of Greek life.
