Sorority house “vibes”

What is the vibe of each sorority? I’m not talking about who is the prettiest or richest. I’m talking about the difference between each house, their characteristics, and what people’s perceptions of them are to be. What would make a girl fit in in said house. I’m rushing as a soph in the fall and was kind of far removed from the Greek life scene freshman yr and honestly couldn’t tell apart the differences between any of the houses, as every girl I met in Greek life had lots of similarities. So I’m not able to get a picture of where I would belong in terms of finding my best fit. I understand that’s why I’ll be going through the process of rushing, but it would be nice to have some background on the topic.

Go read on the sororities tab about each house. Tons of info on the houses there and easiest way to get a vibe as there are differences between types of girls that fit best in each

Depends what kind of reputation you want to be known for
Partier?
Sluddy?
Classy?
Studious?
If you haven’t heard campus buzz or noticed how people girls treat each other then maybe a small quiet house is better

Like anyone is going to compliment another house before rush
Scroll GR pages and you can get vibes
Or better yet make up your own mind with where you feel good during rush week versus what others say

Go in open minded- I had my heart set on a house going in that cut me pretty early and I am really happy with where I ended up- it really does work out when you follow your own heart versus other people’s opinions - so many good houses here
